1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bond ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Akshay Dhiman, an individual operating under the laws of India ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: [email protected].

2. Description of the Service

Bond is a personal guidance application that:

  • Computes natal (birth) charts from your birth date, time, and location via a third-party computation service
  • Uses AI language models to generate personalised guidance based on your chart
  • Provides daily content based on current timing patterns in your chart
  • Offers relationship compatibility analysis ("Bonds") between two individuals
  • Allows you to ask life and relationship questions answered by AI

The Service is provided for personal reflection, cultural exploration, and entertainment purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Bond. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

4. Account

  • You access Bond exclusively via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the security of your Google account.
  • You must not share your session credentials or allow others to use your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently erase all your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  2. Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security measures, rate limits, or access controls
  3. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  4. Access the API at a volume or frequency that unreasonably impairs performance or constitutes abusive automated access
  5. Submit false, misleading, harassing, or harmful content via the "Ask" feature
  6. Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  7. Collect or harvest data about other users

6. Third-Party Personal Data (Bonds Feature)

Bonds let you explore compatibility with another person — by inviting someone who uses Bond, or by entering their birth details yourself. By doing either, you agree that:

  1. You have obtained the explicit, informed consent of that individual to process their personal data on Bond — including when you invite them by email or enter their birth details on their behalf.
  2. You will promptly delete the Bond or cancel the invitation — and thereby remove that person's data — if they withdraw their consent.
  3. You accept full legal responsibility for compliance with any applicable privacy laws with respect to that individual's data.
  4. You will indemnify and hold harmless Akshay Dhiman from any claims, penalties, or liabilities arising from your failure to obtain or maintain proper consent.

7. AI and Guidance Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — Please read carefully.

  • Content generated by Bond is for entertainment and personal reflection only. It is not professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, relationship, or life advice.
  • Bond draws on traditional birth-chart methods. Interpretations do not constitute scientific predictions or guarantees of future events.
  • Do not make significant life decisions — including decisions relating to health, finances, relationships, or career — based solely on content produced by Bond.
  • AI systems can produce errors, omissions, or misleading output. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
  • We do not guarantee the precision of third-party chart calculations underlying the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All software, infrastructure configuration, prompt designs, and Service branding are the property of Akshay Dhiman. All rights reserved.
  • AI-generated content produced for your account is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute or commercialise it.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your birth data and submitted questions solely to provide and improve the Service.
  • You retain ownership of the personal data you provide.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party services including Google (authentication), Cloudflare (infrastructure), and AI model providers. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or harmful components

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • AKSHAY DHIMAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
  • OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ₹500 INR (FIVE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Akshay Dhiman from and against any claims, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, expenses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:

  1. Your use of or access to the Service
  2. Your violation of these Terms
  3. Your violation of any third party's rights, including entering personal data of a third party without their consent

13. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice
  • Change features, pricing, or these Terms

We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

By you: You may terminate your account at any time through the app. Termination will result in permanent deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We will notify you where reasonably practicable.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.

If you are a consumer resident in India, you may also raise a complaint with the relevant consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

16. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
