What Skybond does with your birth details
- 01Your date, time and place of birth
- 02Skybond computes your Vedic birth chart
- 03Chart patterns that match are gathered
- 04An AI writes your articles from them
Skybond computes your Vedic birth chart from your date, time and place of birth, then writes long articles about work, love, family, money and timing in plain language.
The four steps and the four article sets
The four steps in the diagram below are the whole pipeline: calculation comes first, writing second. A library of chart patterns is matched to your chart before any article is written, and an AI writes the articles from that result and saves them to your account.
The writing starts from patterns that have already been matched to your birth details.
You get four sets of articles:
- Today: a daily piece covering the timing chapter and transits, which are the movements of the planets measured against your chart's houses.
- Self: 13 essays, each taking one part of life and reading it from the whole chart.
- Bonds: articles written from two charts, with consent from both people.
- Ask: any question you bring, answered as an article.

How Skybond reads a chart
Skybond uses the sidereal zodiac with the True Chitra Paksha ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and the mean lunar nodes.
What those conventions mean and where to read more
These are Skybond's stated choices, not the only ones possible.
Every chart on Skybond is computed with these settings. Each one is explained in the Learn lessons on the zodiac, the ayanamsa, houses and the nodes.
The full method, step by step, is on the page How Skybond reads a Vedic chart.
Where AI writes and where people check
Your personal articles are written by AI language models; Learn lessons are AI-drafted, then fact-checked and edited before publishing.
The AI disclaimer and the Learn process
Skybond uses AI language models to write its personal articles, daily check-ins, timing notes, compatibility analyses and answers.
That content is generated by an AI system and is not written or reviewed by a qualified human advisor. It is for personal reflection and entertainment only, and is not a substitute for medical, financial, legal, psychological or relationship advice.
Learn works differently. Each lesson is drafted with AI from verified sources, then fact-checked and edited by Skybond before publishing, and every page lists its sources.
The standards behind this are on the Editorial standards page.
What you can read without an account
Three things are free to read without an account: the transit articles for each ascendant, the ascendant calculator and the Learn course.
The free pages and where to find them
No sign-up is needed for any of these:
- The transit articles for each ascendant (lagna), meaning the sign rising on the eastern horizon at your birth, at /transits/.
- The ascendant calculator at /ascendant-calculator/.
- The Learn course at /learn/.
The Learn course is a set of lessons on how Vedic astrology is read, each one listing its sources.
A preview of the personal articles is also free, with Skybond+ continuing from there.
