FAQ
Where should a beginner start with Vedic astrology?
Start with the Start here module, then move through the birth chart and the planets, signs and houses. This follows the order most courses use: the chart first, then its building blocks, then deeper topics such as nakshatras and dashas. Each lesson leads with a diagram or table and keeps a short version visible, with the longer explanation in sections you can open.
Do you need your own chart to follow the lessons?
Which zodiac and house system do the lessons use?
Skybond's lessons use the sidereal zodiac with the True Chitra Paksha ayanamsa, and whole-sign houses. In whole-sign houses, the entire sign containing the ascendant becomes the 1st house, and each following sign is the next house. The lesson on how Skybond reads a Vedic chart lists these conventions.
