Debilitation (neecha) is the sign where a planet is at its weakest, the seventh sign from its exaltation sign.

Each planet is debilitated (neecha) in the seventh sign from its exaltation sign, and the weakness is deepest at the same degree where exaltation was deepest. So the Sun is debilitated in Libra, the Moon in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer, Mercury in Pisces, Jupiter in Capricorn, Venus in Virgo and Saturn in Aries.
